Overwhelmingly good feedback from vendors past 2 years, as they all did very good sales with ample foot traffic
We do our best to spell out everything as clearly as possible, so please read all of the info provided here. It is your responsibility to know and understand the conditions of your participation.
Booth sharing is allowed, however, both parties must be Approved Vendors. It is your responsibility to coordinate with another Approved Vendor to share your booth Space. One party pays for the Space. Just let us know who you're sharing with for our marketing efforts.
Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL is “Rain or Shine”. Keep an eye on the weather forecasts and plan accordingly. We will not cancel the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL due to weather, however, we do not penalize vendors if they do not feel comfortable setting up in inclement weather. No refunds will be given in the event that weather makes it unappealing to set up.
If the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL is canceled due to extreme weather conditions it will be considered an “act of god” and refunds will not be given.
Due to the extensive work it takes to produce an event such as the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, once you have paid for a booth, there are no refunds.
Please arrive at least an hour before doors to set up (August 29th @ 3pm | August 30th @ 10am | August 31st @ 10am)
Vendors who arrive after the event starts will not be allowed to set up and will forfeit their vendor fee.
Vendors can breakdown and leave after 10pm curfew each day and/ or stay set up over night, as there will be overnight security staffed (still recommended to take valuables such as cash box with you)
Vendors must unload their vehicles in their staging area and park their vehicles before setting up their booths. There are several parking options in the vicinity.
10x10 canopies MUST be weighted with a minimum of 25 lbs. per leg or as recommended by the manufacturer for severe weather.
Vendors may choose to bring a market umbrella or smaller canopies. They MUST be supported with a base and additional weight equaling 10 lbs. or more for each foot of umbrella. Ex: a 6’ umbrella needs 60 lbs. of weight, a 9’ umbrella needs 90 lbs. of weight.
Market umbrellas must not be more than 9’ in circumference.
Vendors are responsible for their own canopies, tables, market umbrellas, chairs, table coverings, decor, lighting, change, etc.
Vendors are responsible for all customer transactions (credit card, cash, Venmo, etc.)
The State of North Carolina requires that all vendors pay sales tax on their revenue. It is each individual’s responsibility to make sure that they claim their income and collect sales tax.
Unless it has been agreed upon by Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL’s staff - do not break down early. If you must leave early because of an emergency, please contact the event manager before breaking down your booth.
Do not bring your vehicle in to pack up until your booth has been broken down entirely and placed in your designated staging area.
Vendor’s Spaces must be free of trash after breakdown.
Sales of alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
