Greetings! 


Thanks for your interest in Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL!


Pleased to inform you we are now accepting Food Truck applications, just need answers to highlighted requests below.

 

Attached is our intake Agreement along with Boomtown FestAVL 2026 lineup and rates below.

The following agreement outlines terms set by Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, LLC and the City of Asheville. If you have questions regarding City compliance, contact Jon Fillman (jfillman@ashevillenc.gov or 828.259.5738). If you have questions for Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, LLC, contact Andrew Ellington (andrew@boomtownfestavl.com).

Event is open to the public. Vendors may sell until 10pm

Breakdown begins (no early breakdowns). Do not move large objects, block walkways or bring vehicles into event space until pedestrians are clear.

Boomtown arts & Heritage FestAVL (approximate attendance 30k)

Friday + Saturday + Sunday September 4-6, 2026

  • Tent 10' x 10' space = $500 (1 day) | $800 (2 days) | $1000 (3 days)

  • Truck or trailer = $750 (1 day) | $1200 (2 day) | $1500 (3 day)

  • 100% Deposit upfront via Zelle: Andrew@boomtownfestavl.com, Check, Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL LLC or payment link/ invoice via Square (processing fees on top)

  • Electricity fees are included in vendor fees. 

  • Vendor fees cannot be refunded in the event of cancellation.

  • No show/no call will result in exclusion from future events.


VENDOR INSURANCE DOCUMENTS (Due August 14th)


Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, LLC and City Of Asheville requires event partners to provide two separate certificates of insurance (COIs). Do not combine these documents. Email COIs to marci@boomtownfestavl.com

  • One COI lists the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, LLC as (a) additional insured AND (b) certificate holder with respect to the general liability policy of at least $1M. Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL LLC  address is 5540 Centerview Dr Ste 204 PMB 353754 Raleigh, North Carolina 27606-8012 US

**In “description” field, write: “Certificate holder is an additional insured 

with respect to general liability policy.”


  • One COI lists the City of Asheville as (a) additional insured AND (b) certificate holder with respect to the general liability policy of at least $1M. The City’s address is PO Box 7148, Asheville, NC 28801.

VENDOR RULES & REQUIREMENTS


  • Vendors must bring their own fire-retardant tent and weigh it down at all corners (bring cement blocks, tent feet, etc.) with 20+ pounds per leg. Tent weights must be attached to the tent by rope or other method.

  • All food service materials — including but not limited to utensils, plates, napkins and cups — must be compostable without exception. Absolutely no styrofoam.

  • Vendors must take reasonable steps to make their service counter accessible to patrons with disabilities. If your service counter is taller than 36", be prepared to complete order and payment transactions with a clipboard or other device.

  • Come prepared to contain your food prep trash. 

  • Leave your area as you found it. Bring ground cover plus a broom and materials to clean your area of food and debris. Bag any remaining waste and take it with you. Failure will result in a $150 "Leave No Trace" violation fee and will result in exclusion from future events.

  • No alcoholic beverages may be sold by vendors (Boomtown FestAVL holds all ABC/ALE permits). Food vendors may sell water and non-alcoholic beverages. 

  • Bring prepared food, hot or cold, that can simply be served on site. If you want to cook, you must contact the City of Asheville and Buncombe County Health Department (BCHD) and secure all necessary permits yourself. 

  • Food vendors must bring water and soap for hand washing.

  • All sales must be conducted within the booth space. No roving vendors. 

  • You cannot sublease your booth space.

  • No glass containers allowed.

  • Each booth is required to have (2) box fans.

  • No extra structures (i.e. extra tents, seating areas, etc.) are allowed without prior approval.

  • Vendors must comply with North Carolina’s sales tax and business license requirements. 

  • Vendors must be prepared to pass a safety inspection by authorities of the City of Asheville. 

  • Vendors must be able to pass a health inspection. The BCHD will be at each event to do inspections. If you have any questions, contact Lee Friedrich,  with the BCHD at Lee.Friedrich@buncombecounty.org . All vendors must contact the City of Asheville and Buncombe County Health Department (BCHD) and secure all necessary permits by the relevant deadline. 

  • Vendors must demonstrate compliance with and payment of all county and state permits. When applicable, the Buncombe County Temporary Food Vendor fee must be paid in advance (at least 15 work days). Application is at: http://buncombecounty.org/common/health/tempFoodEst_App.pdf

  • Vendors must comply with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations of any lawful authority, agency or governmental unit, including but not limited to any applicable fire and building codes of the City of Asheville and BCHD. 

  • Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, LLC, the City of Asheville, and City Of Asheville their subsidiaries, divisions, officers, directors and employees from all liabilities, losses, costs, claims, damages, expenses, attorney fees, judgments and awards that are proximately caused by the negligent acts or omissions of the vendor or any employee, agent, assign, or volunteers of the vendor. Vendor shall comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act and all rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. Vendor hereby agrees to indemnify the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, City Of Asheville, and City of Asheville from against all claims, suits, damages, costs, losses and expenses in any manner arising out of or connected with the failure of the vendor, its subcontractors, agents, successors, assigns, officers or employees to comply with provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act or the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. Nothing herein shall be construed as a waiver on the part of the City Of Asheville, Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, or the City of Asheville to any defense of any claim.

  • Vendors agree to accept as conclusive and binding the decision of the City Of Asheville & Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL as to any dispute between you and any other participating restaurant, vendor, attendee or other person.

  • Vendor fees are nonrefundable in the event of cancellation. No show/no call will result in exclusion from future events.
